"It was 1987 and I was with a friend that I had just help move to Ashland City, Tennessee.  Ashland City sets about 15 miles outside of Nashville and we were trying to get to the airport.  Kept asking people directions, every single one spent quite a bit of time working on the answer but would end up saying, "You just can't get there from here".

When you're here, you're in "Sane"

Where is Sane?  It is nowhere, but it is everywhere.  To most of us it is just around the corner.  When you arrive in "Sane", there is a good possibility that you will be excluded from some more prestigious places.  But that's ok, we welcome you anyway.

I've always wanted to live in a town of my own creation. One where we could sit on the porch on warm summer evenings and by the fire on cold winter nights. A place where every dog has it's own people. The population of Sane is 10, counting the dogs, cats are optional and a plenty. Visitors are always welcome. Stop by, sit a while, pet the dogs, but don't ever ask to ride the mule.
